Sandman Fan Book is an accordian book made in ode to The Sandman Comics. These pages capture the first volume of the Sandman series and apply a different experience to them.

I didn't do well on this project though(and I knew- this wasn't in any way artistic). But ah well, it was fun doing it and it's just a fan project.

The Cover

This is the cover for the book. I printed out this image from Canson paper and fed it through a regular laser jet, hence the interesting texture of the print. It gives an aged look, doesn't it?

Acrylic Medium Transfers

By using acrylic medium, I was able to transfer photocopied images of The Sandman onto heavy weight paper. In this way, the paper's grains become more apparent. I like texture, if you didn't notice.

Bleeding

Over some of the images, I used thich sharpies to outline certain portions of figures. I let the pen bleed and create what it would.
